A young studio, no borrowed words
Obsidian Detail Studios is early in the corridor, and we'd rather show you how we work than paste up testimonials we can't back. So here's the deal, plain.
We're building our review base one car at a time around Durham, Hillsborough, and the towns between them. Until that wall fills in honestly, the cards below lay out exactly what every booking gets: mobile service at your place, our own water and power, and a quote tied to your vehicle instead of a fixed menu. We pull up to your driveway, apartment lot, office deck, marina, or hangar and run the full job right there. No drop-off, no shuttling your car across town.
Our rig carries its own water and power. You don't need a hose, an outlet, or any prep. Hand us the keys and go about your day.
Bronze, Silver, and Gold packages are quoted by vehicle size and condition, so a tidy sedan runs less than a truck off a job site. Usually a number back within the hour.
Mobile Ceramic & Correction
Gloss done in your driveway
We apply ceramic coating right where your car is parked in Durham or Hillsborough. No shop drop-off. We prep and cure outdoors in Triangle weather, and we plan the day around it.
Paint correction knocks back the swirls a cheap car wash leaves behind. We walk you through what a machine polish can and can't fix on your paint before we start.

Interiors & Pet Hair
The messy jobs, handled
Big dogs mean back-seat hair that a vacuum alone won't touch. We work it out of the carpet and upholstery so the cabin actually smells fresh again.
Crushed crackers and spilled juice around a car seat are our normal. Interior shampoo and extraction bring the seats and carpet back without a trip to the shop.
No garage, no problem. We roll up self-contained and work right in the lot where a lot of detailers won't come, then condition the leather back to life.
Detailers you can count on
Here's how we run every job, whether it's a daily driver, a boat, or a work truck. We show up when we say, and the invoice matches the quote. Pricing runs on vehicle size and how much work the condition needs, so a compact that gets a monthly wash quotes lower than an SUV coming off a muddy summer. Send a few photos and you'll usually have a number back within the hour, with no fixed-menu guessing.
We work well past the daily-driver too: boat and marine details on Falls Lake and Jordan Lake, plus jobs out at Kerr Lake and Hyco. Fleet owners can lean on our fleet and commercial route, and we also handle RV and camper and aircraft work that most local shops don't touch.
Book us at your office lot near RTP and pick up a clean car at the end of the day. We keep to the arrival window and the price we quoted, with no day-of surprises.
A full detail before you list makes a car photograph and show far better. We get it clean enough that buyers notice, without overselling what a detail can do.
