What We Do

Our Durham-area aircraft detailing services

An aircraft is a different animal than a car. The surfaces are thinner, the finishes are more particular, and a hangar floor is no place to be flooding with water. Every service below is built around that, using approved products, careful masking, and methods made for ramp and hangar work.

Exterior & Dry Wash

Rinseless and dry-wash methods that lift exhaust soot, bug strikes, and Piedmont pollen off the fuselage and leading edges without a hose running across the hangar floor. Belly and underside get attention too, where most grime collects.

Brightwork & Polishing

Metal polishing that brings leading edges, spinners, and bare-metal panels back to a mirror, plus machine polishing that pulls oxidation and chalking out of painted control surfaces. Same paint correction craft we run on exotics, applied at aircraft scale.

Ceramic Coating

An aircraft-safe ceramic sealant that makes the airframe easier to keep clean and shields it from UV and contaminants between washes. More on aircraft ceramic coating below.

De-Greasing & Belly

Oil film, exhaust residue, and hydraulic weep cleaned off the belly, gear, and underside with the right degreasers. It is the dirty part of the airplane most washes skip, and it makes the whole airframe read cleaner.

Cabin & Interior

Cabin, cockpit, headliner, and vents brought back to a cabin-class standard, with leather conditioned and carpet extracted. We work carefully around avionics, switches, and trim so the panel looks as sharp as the seats.

Careful Masking

Static ports, pitot tubes, antennas, and window seals get masked before anything wet touches the airframe. Approved products only, and nothing that belongs on an automotive shelf goes near your aircraft.

Inside the Cabin

Cabin detailing that matches the exterior

A spotless airframe and a tired cabin send mixed signals to anyone stepping aboard. We bring the interior up to the same standard as the exterior, working carefully around avionics, switchgear, and trim so the panel stays as sharp as the seats.

Leather conditioned, carpet extracted, headliner and vents cleaned, and every touchpoint wiped down before your next leg. Get a free quote for an interior or full detail.

The Fleet

Aircraft we detail

Most of our work falls into three groups. Tell us your tail number and what you fly, and we will scope the detail to the airframe.

Piston & Light GA

Cessna, Piper, Cirrus, and the rest of the light general-aviation fleet flying out of Person County Airport in Roxboro and Burlington-Alamance Regional. This is the corner the fly-in jet brands skip, and it is exactly who we set up for. Exhaust streaking down the belly, bug strikes on the leading edges, and oxidized older paint are the usual jobs, and they clean up well with the right products.

Turboprops

King Air, TBM, and PC-12 owners want a presentation that matches the airplane. We handle the larger footprint, the de-ice boots, and the soot that turbine exhaust leaves behind, on your schedule and at your hangar.

Light Jets

Light and midsize jets like the Citation family are where private jet cleaning at an RDU FBO pays off most. A polish-and-coating package keeps the exterior sharp and the cabin presentable for owners and charter operators alike. Running a business aircraft alongside vehicles? Ask about pairing it with our fleet and commercial detailing on one schedule.

Mobile aircraft detailing on the ramp near Durham, North Carolina The Shop Comes to You
Why On-Site

Mobile aircraft detailing makes sense for owners

Moving an aircraft to a detail shop is not how this works. We come to you, so there is no repositioning, no tow, and no drop-off eating a flying day. Mobile aircraft detailing in North Carolina means the work happens wherever the airplane lives.

Around the Triangle you are usually choosing between a national jet outfit that flies a crew in on its own calendar or a car detailer who has never masked a pitot tube. We are local, we are already in Durham and Hillsborough most days, and we run seven days a week from 7 AM to 8 PM, so a hangar slot that fits your flying rarely takes more than a call to arrange.

  • We work right at your hangar, FBO, or ramp spot with our own self-contained rig, so you supply no water and no power.
  • Products and pads are chosen for aircraft finishes, not pulled from an automotive shelf.
  • We book around your flight calendar seven days a week, including early mornings and between trips.
  • You stay current on the airplane the whole time it is being detailed.
Long-Term Protection

Aircraft ceramic coating in North Carolina

Aircraft ceramic coating in North Carolina is the upgrade that earns its keep over a season. An aircraft-safe ceramic sealant bonds to the painted surface and cures into a hard, hydrophobic layer. Water beads and sheets off, soot and grime release more easily, and the finish keeps its depth far longer than wax or sealant ever could.

For an aircraft specifically, that matters in a few ways. A slicker surface stays cleaner between washes, which means fewer wash cycles and less handling of the paint over the year. The coating also shields against the UV a ramp-parked airplane takes and the pollen, sap, and industrial fallout that bake onto a fuselage in the Carolina sun. Where a wax fades in weeks, a quality ceramic holds for years with simple upkeep.

We prep first, with a decontamination wash, brightwork polishing, and any correction the paint needs, then apply the coating so it bonds to clean, glossy surfaces. It is the same ceramic coating standard we hold on the ground, scaled to your airframe.

Pricing

Aircraft detailing pricing & quotes

There is no flat rate that fits a Cessna 172 and a Citation, so we quote every aircraft on its own. Price comes down to the size of the airframe, the condition it is in, and the scope of work, from a straightforward exterior wash to full brightwork polishing and a ceramic coating. Light general-aviation details start modestly and scale up for turboprops and jets. Send us the details through our contact page and you will have a custom number back fast, usually within the hour.

FAQs

Aircraft detailing questions

How much does aircraft detailing cost near Durham?+
Price depends on aircraft size, condition, and the services chosen. We provide free custom quotes — a piston single costs far less than a turboprop or a light jet.
Do you come to my hangar or FBO?+
Yes. We are fully mobile and detail on-site at RDU International, Person County Airport in Roxboro, Burlington-Alamance Regional, and hangars across the Durham, Hillsborough, and Chapel Hill area.
What types of aircraft do you detail?+
Piston singles and light general-aviation aircraft, turboprops, and light jets — exterior, brightwork, interior, and ceramic coating services.
Is ceramic coating worth it for aircraft?+
Yes. An aircraft-safe ceramic sealant adds long-term hydrophobic protection, cuts how often the airframe needs washing, and helps resist UV and environmental contaminants.
Are your products and methods safe for aircraft surfaces?+
We use approved, aviation-appropriate products and rinseless or dry-wash methods, with careful masking around static ports, antennas, and windows.
How long does aircraft detailing take?+
From a few hours for a light-aircraft exterior to multiple days for full brightwork polishing and ceramic on a jet. We schedule around your flights.
Which airports do you serve?+
RDU International near Durham and Morrisville, Person County Airport in Roxboro, and Burlington-Alamance Regional to the west, plus private hangars across the Durham, Hillsborough, and Chapel Hill area. Based near a smaller strip? Tell us where you fly out of and we will usually come to you.
Do you detail small general-aviation aircraft?+
Yes. Cessnas, Pipers, Cirrus aircraft, and the rest of the light piston fleet are a big part of what we do. Where the fly-in jet brands skip the small-hangar owner, we handle exterior washes, brightwork, interior care, and ceramic on GA aircraft.
Do you need hangar power or water?+
No. We are fully self-contained and bring our own water and power to the ramp or hangar, so you supply no hose and no outlet. That is part of why we can work seven days a week, 7 AM to 8 PM, around your flying.
